Dinner and a Show

Each year, Tour Guide Magazine presents the Top Dog Awards. These awards honor professionals in the live event industry at many levels. Individuals as well as businesses are recognized by their peers for outstanding accomplishments in that previous year. The annual Top Dog Awards Show is preceded by a dinner which can be co-sponsored by up to three companies. The dinner is a formal affair, and is always included in the cost of registration. The show itself will be held immediately after the industry dinner in the banquet hall at the Phoenix/Mesa Marriott. Photos of last year's ceremony can be viewed in our Top Dog Awards Show Gallery. This year the Master of Ceremonies for the Awards Show will be Chuck Randall along with Tour Guide Magazine's own Jessi Wallace.

Without fail, one award stands out above the others. For extreme devotion to their craft, an eye toward design, and a flair for excellence, The Platinum Top Dog is awarded to the individual whom Tour Guide feels has contributed intense amounts of themselves to the industry during their lifetime. Last year, the 2007 Platinum Top Dog Award went to Marty Hom.
